Enervillas: The Sustainable and Energy-Producing Tourist Complex of the Future

Enervillas, the innovative tourist complex being constructed in Western Achaea, represents the future of sustainable and energy-efficient accommodation. Presented at the Building Green Open Space 2016 exhibition, Enervillas consists of two independent, furnished residences that offer stunning views of the Gulf of Patras, including the Rion-Antirion Bridge, and is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Patras and 25 minutes from the golden beach of Kalogria.

What sets Enervillas apart is its innovative and environmentally conscious design, which includes producing more energy than it consumes, while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment and quality air. The project has been designed to the "Passive House" standard, which guarantees energy savings of up to 90% compared to conventional buildings. The tourist residences are fully accessi

ble and ergonomically designed, making them suitable for all, including people with disabilities.

The project is being led by Dimitrios Demopoulos, a certified designer of passive buildings, who has ensured that the construction process adheres to the highest standards of sustainability and environmental friendliness. The building's energy needs are met through the use of photovoltaic panels, and excess energy is used to power electric cars without any impact on the environment. In all phases of construction and operation, Enervillas prioritizes the environment, from recycling to biological wastewater treatment and water conservation.

Enervillas is the only tourist complex in Greece that has received the "Passive House Premium" certification from the Passive House Institute. The complex offers visitors a unique and sustainable vacation experience, with a focus on providing maximum comfort and relaxation. With its stunning location, top-notch facilities, and innovative design, Enervillas is set to become a leading example of sustainable and energy-efficient architecture.

In conclusion, Enervillas represents the future of sustainable and energy-efficient accommodation, providing a model for environmentally conscious tourism that prioritizes both comfort and sustainability. The innovative design, combined with Dimitrios Demopoulos's expertise, has produced a project that sets a new standard in the industry, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
